Annette has 35 years of international experience in the pharmaceutical industry including at Warner-Lambert, Pfizer and most recently GSK where she was Senior Vice President, Global Head of Product Development & Supply. She has been directly involved in research, development and launch of over 30 new medicines.She is currently Senior Advisor at Frazier Life Sciences, a team investing in and building companies to deliver novel therapeutics. She has served on Boards of various organizations including Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry, Medical Research Council and currently Innovate UK. She is Non-Executive Director at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and is Trustee at charities including Addenbrookes Hospital, Royal Society of Chemistry, St John Ambulance and Member at Tonbridge Grammar School Academy.She has a BSc in Chemistry and PhD in Organic Synthesis from Imperial College London and conducted postdoctoral research with a NATO fellowship at Ohio State University. She has been elected as the next President of the Royal Society of Chemistry (2024-26).In 2009, she was awarded an OBE in recognition of her services to the pharmaceutical sector.
